Terms and Conditions

Car Inspection:

(Service Applicable in UAE & Qatar)

1. The service to be booked 48 hours prior to the required time.
2. Customer to pay the vehicle inspection charges (ex. RTA Dubai)
3. Car registration card renewal has to be online by the policy holder
4. Cancellation should be intimated either by Email or call, at least 6 hours before the requested service time
5. Once the driver reaches the customer location, no show/cancellation will be considered as a service utilized.

Airport Pickup & Dropoff:

(Service Applicable in UAE, Bahrain & Qatar)

1. This service is applicable only for comprehensive policy holders (Personal Line)
2. The service to be booked 24hrs prior to the required time.
3. Airport Pick up or Drop off service can be availed for free-twice a year (1 pick up and 1 drop off)
4. Type of car: Standard Sedan car
  UAE: Mileage capped at 40 km radius of the airport. Extra mileage charged at AED 5 per km
  Qatar: Mileage capped at 30 km radius of the airport. Extra mileage charged at QAR 5 per km
  Bahrain: Within Bahrain limits
5. Capacity: 3 passengers with 3 standard luggages (23kgs/158cm) *subject to change as per government norms and regulations
6. Option to upgrade:

7. We wait maximum of 30 minutes from the confirmed arrival time for Airport Pick Up and wait maximum of 15 minutes at the your designated location for Airport Drop Off.
8. Cancellation should be intimated either by Email or Call, at least 6 hours before the arrival/departure time
9. Once the driver reaches the customer location/airport, no show/cancellation will be considered as service utilized
10. Policy holder ticket itinerary is mandatory.

 

Service Pickup & Dropoff:

(Service Applicable in UAE, Bahrain & Qatar)

1. The service to be booked 48 hours prior to the required time.
2. The customer should confirm the appointment with the service center for Service pickup or Dropoff.
3. Any Service Centre charges due for the Vehicle are to be paid by the customer directly to the Agency or Garage and AAA will not be responsible for the same.
4. Once the driver reaches the customer location/service center, no show/cancellation will be considered as a service utilized.
5. Vehicle service does not apply to any commercial vehicles (i.e. trucks, pick-up vehicles, buses or vans (above 10-seater capacity) or motorcycles.
6. Service Pick up and Drop off( annual car service, car servicing,) is only free if within the same Emirate.

Rent A Car:

(Service Applicable in UAE)

1. In the event of an accident or damage to the vehicle, a police report must be obtained by the driver for insurance coverage to be applicable. If an accident is due to the fault of the driver or unknown party, hirer will be responsible for the first AED.750/- (Excess Insurance Charge) for the category 1 vehicles (1.2L to 1.5L) except when the Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is purchased by the hirer.
2. All new levies, taxes, road permits, entry permits or road tolls or increase inexisting levies, taxes, road permits, entry permits, fuel cost by the Government or any competent authority after the date of submission of this quotation, will be charged to the hirer on the actual basis as and when they become payable.
3. Driver should possess 1-year validity on his driving license from any emirate in UAE.
4. Your age limit to hold a car for driving in Dubai must be 18 years old, but to rent a car you must be 21 years old and your driving license must be 6 months older over 21 years old.
5. Customers may take delivery from any office of any emirate after signing the daily rental agreement.
6. Minimum Pre-Authorization of AED 1000.00 will be taken from customer by using his valid credit card or AED.2500 by the mode of cash. The Credit Card will be unblocked after the Traffic dept report arrives.
7. Customer will be responsible for any traffic violation, Salik, damage and extra extension of allowed period. Any extension of agreed period of lease shall be borne by the hirer.
8. In the event of any damage or accident to the lease or leased replacement vehicle, the police must be called before the vehicle is moved and a police report and a repair slip obtained. Should these documents not be obtained then the Hirer will beresponsible for repair costs of all damage incurred. The obtaining of these documents willbe the responsibility of the Hirer.
9. Fuel used by the hire and Hire replacement vehicles will be charged to the hirer.
10. Road toll charges (Salik) incurred by the customer will be charged @ AED 5.50 per toll.
11. Fines or other expenses incurred through traffic violations committed during the term of the lease will be the hirer’s responsibility irrespective of any time delays in notifying to AAA by the UAE authorities. Service charges @ AED 50/- will be levied per fine.
12. Hirers are not allowed to drive across UAE border.
13. Parking fees will be paid directly by the user.
14. Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) (Optional) would be AED 15.00 per day for the standard cars only and the high-end cars differs as per the vehicle.
15. The Replacement vehicle is for the exclusive use of the insured or his paid driver having a valid U.A.E. Driving License and must not be given to any third person.
16. According to your policy benefits, you will receive up to 7 days Hire Car service (Motor Perfect policy holder) or we will reimburse up to AED 1,500 to the Insured for the cost of a hire car from our providers (Motor Prestige Policy holder)

Documents required from customer to collect replacement car.
1. Passport copy of user with valid Visa page.
2. Valid Emirates ID copy
3. Valid UAE Driving License copy
4. Valid Credit Card

3. Cancellation should be intimated either by Email or call, at least 6 hours before the requested service time
4. Once the driver reaches the customer location, no show/cancellation will be considered as a service utilized.

Airport Drop-off:

(Service Applicable in Bahrain)

1. The service to be booked 24hrs prior to the required time.
2. Drop off to Airport twice a year
3. Type of car: Standard Sedan car
4. Capacity: 3 passengers with 3 standard luggages (23 to 30 kg each) *subject to change as per government norms and regulations
5. Option to upgrade:

Service Pickup & Dropoff:

4. Once the driver reaches the customer location/service center, no show/cancellation will be considered as a service utilized.
5. Vehicle service does not apply to any commercial vehicles (i.e. trucks, pick-up vehicles, buses or vans (above 10-seater capacity) or motorcycles.

Emergency Home Assistance:

A total of 3 emergency services per year are included, covering Plumbing, Electrical, Locksmith, and Glazing.
  • Plumbing: In the event of breakage or damage to piping, leaks from sanitary fittings, fixed water installations within the domestic dwelling. GIG will send a Plumber, who will carry out the Emergency Repair necessary to render the dwelling safe and/or secure the dwelling against further loss or damage.
  • Electrical: In the event of failure of electrical supply within the domestic dwelling as a result of a fault or damage to the internal electrical installation, GIG will send an Electrician, who will carry out the Emergency Repair necessary to render the dwelling safe and/or secure the dwelling against further loss or damage.
  • Locksmith: In the event of the domestic dwelling being made insecure or if it is impossible to gain entry, due to loss or theft of keys or damage to locks as a consequence of theft or any accidental cause, in the event that a child may have locked themselves in a room, GIG will send a Locksmith, who will carry out the Emergency Repair necessary to render the dwelling safe and/or secure the dwelling against further loss or damage.
  • Glazing: In the event of breakage of Glazing to external windows or doors which render the domestic dwelling insecure, GIG will send a Glazier, who will carry out the Emergency Repair necessary to render the dwelling secure. GIG undertake to install a single glazed unit where possible, either permanent or temporary, to secure the dwelling. Where this is not possible, we will board up to secure the dwelling and eliminate the Emergency.
